Mr. Goodeve provides over 25 years of global financial services experience, encompassing a broad range of skills, having done over 100 M&A transactions, 10 IPOs, 15 turnarounds and raised over $30 Billion in public and private capital. Prior to joining Belvedere, Mr. Goodeve was the CFO of Washington Mutual Finance, the consumer finance and sub-prime mortgage business of $350 Billion Washington Mutual, and before that was Executive Vice President of Bank of America as head of strategy and corporate development for the global retail bank. Mr. Goodeve began his career as a strategy consultant with Bain and Company in London and was also global co-head of Financial Institution Coverage for CIBC World Markets, and Co-Managing Director of the 2nd largest publicly traded, private equity group in Canada.
Mr. Goodeve has been on the boards of various public and private companies in Canada and the US, including Integral Wealth Management, Patriot Equities, Lexim Financial, and Mark’s Work Wearhouse.
Mr. Goodeve has a Bachelor of Commerce with honors from Queen’s University in Canada, and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
