Marino Linardon joined Belvedere recently as a Principal and member of the Investment Committee. Mr. Linardon has spent the vast majority of his career as a principal or advisor in the financial services industry and has experience across most sectors including banking, insurance, asset management, mortgage, broker/dealers, financial technology and consumer and commercial finance. Over his career, Mr. Linardon has been involved in more than 15 announced M&A transactions totaling more than $22 billion in value and ten financings raising more than $3 billion. Previously, Mr. Linardon was Vice President of Corporate Development at Capital One where he focused on M&A, strategic investments, partnerships and JVs in banks and other related areas. Prior to Capital One, Mr. Linardon was a Vice President with Swiss Re Capital Partners where he specialized in financial services private equity investments. Prior to this, Mr. Linardon spent several years as an investment banker with Robertson Stephens, Salomon Smith Barney and Russell Miller.
Mr. Linardon holds an MBA with high honors from the University of Chicago, a BS with honors in Business Administration from the University of the Pacific, and the Chartered Financial Analyst designation.
